Couch Surf - 4

How to accommodate those who couch surf

You may have a friend, family member or even a colleague that is going through a tough time. So touch that they need somewhere to stay and are couch surfing at as many homes as they can so that they have somewhere to sleep at night. If you have a friend that is in that kind of situation, of course you want to help them out, but what can you do to accommodate them, especially if it is going to be for a prolonged period of time? You may have a couch that is already nice and comfortable and makes for a nice space to sleep. If not the following
are a few options that you may like to consider to help your couch surfer out.

Get a Couch Bed

You can purchase these starting from quite a low price and some will take up a very low profile in your lounge room. A click clack style couch bed is the least expensive and can easily convert from couch to bed in a matter of seconds. Other options are couch bunk beds. These are great if you are really limited for space as when they go from couch to bed, they extend up
instead of out. Another option is the conventional fold out couch bed, although these will be a bit more pricey than the first option.

Get a Bean Bag Couch

These are general inexpensive and very comfortable, potentially providing a wonderful spot for your guest to sleep. These are available in a range of sizes, with some being perfect use as a bed.

Utilize Your Current Couch

if you have a modular or chaise style couch then you are in luck as you could convert a modular style couch into a good area for sleep with little effort. A chaise lounge already has an area ideal for lying down on so is an easy option to accommodate your couch surfing guest.

These are just some of the ideas that can help you help a couch surfer. There are another options such as air mattresses that you could look into as well. I am sure that your couch surfer is very grateful for your hospitality and good on you for helping out someone in need.
